I made my way down to the group ride at Dunn Brothers South.

We had 9 total for a windy ride.

The plan was to head SW into the ~25mph winds and then get a nice tailwind push all the way home.

The group chugged along nicely, but after about an hour or so I was starting to feel it. And with the strong winds there was no place to hide.

I dropped off the back a couple of times and the others slowed and came back for me (thanks), but by the turnaround point I was plenty tired.

So, I said "goodbye" and turned toward Stewartville on my own.

After some nice easy "slower" miles, I started to feel better and I made my way home without too much trouble.

Thanks to the nice tailwind.
