Keep going.

Didn't win the Powerball and the Mayan calendar is broke, I guess that means I need to keep working...

On the bright side, I do get to ride my bike some more.

Near the end

Well, 2012 is fast coming to a close, not to mention the end of the world on 12/21/2012.

Most of the riding has been indoors with hopes of more outdoor miles to be my New Year's resolution (or wish).

Plans for Arizona 2013 are coming together nicely and I'm really looking forward to the trip.

Also, Kathy and I are planning a nice long cruise to celebrate the end of a trying 2012.  I think she wants to try a two week cruise (or two seperate one week back-to-back cruises).  Planning for something later in March or early April.

Dennis has been hitting the indoor bikes as well and starting to see some good results in the increased number of miles and riding time.  Hopefully, he and I can get outdoors for some real miles together in 2013.

I think about little Ben everyday and I hope and pray that we will all start to see his little leg start to kick and move here real soon.

He is such a happy little guy, to see his face makes me smile.

Ben has single-handedly brought an otherwise dreadful 2012 back up in the standings to first place.

I hope that Kathy's 2013 holds absolutely no unpleasant surprises, she's had enough for a lifetime and maybe even several lifetimes.

Bill & Cathy (and Ben) and Marie & Justin are all setup pretty well.  They have good jobs, nice homes, 2 dogs each, and each other.  They all make me proud and I give all the credit on great parenting to my Kathy.  She is our rock.

Merry Christmas and a Happy 2013 New Year, if we are still here on December 22...

Getting ready for 2013

Lately I've been just trying to get a few miles in here and there.  Most of them are indoors, so I really don't feel like they are good quality miles, just miles.

Jeff and Steve mentioned maybe starting the night weekday rides on the Douglas trail, at least until the snow gets too deep.  Haven't heard when and where, but that would be fun.

The Arizona trip with the Silver guys is shaping up.  Looks like we have the house rented for the last week in Febuary and Shad, Rob and I are planning on driving the trailer down with all the bikes and gear.  This will give us lots of options for day trips and some gravel road rides, as everyone is planning on bringing road bikes and CX bikes.  The house is different from last year, but in the same general locations as last year.  The pictures look great.

I plan on staying as active as possible with indoor and hopefully some outdoor miles, so the Arizona trip is a fun experience for my legs...

I must be getting old or something because when asked about things I want for Christmas from family, I have a difficult time thinking of anything I need (that includes bike stuff).  I know that sounds weird, there should always be something you need for your bike.  I guess I'm good with everything I have currently and nothing has worn out yet.

I do plan on getting in on the 2013 Silver clothing order, so there are few more things I can add to the closet.

I hope we have another winter like last year, no snow and above average temps...then I can ride.
